Special Ballot Application

Saddle Hills County voters have the option to vote by Special Ballot (i.e. mail-in ballot) during the 2025 municipal election, subject to the following requirements, as noted in the Local Authorities Election Act:

(77.1) An elector whose name is contained in the permanent electors register and who is unable to vote at an advance vote or at the voting station on election day may apply to vote by special ballot.

If you require a Special Ballot, you must submit an application to the Returning Officer, by October 17th, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. All applications must include the first and last name of the elector, municipal address of the residence of the elector, mailing address to which the special ballot is to be sent, and contact telephone number and email address for the elector. Email will be used if the elector is unavailable by phone.

Completed Special Ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m., on Monday, October 20th, 2025 (Election Day), to be eligible.
